Square D Panel Upgrade & Installation

Square D Panels: A Century of Reliability in American Homes

Square D, now a brand of Schneider Electric, has been manufacturing electrical distribution equipment for over 100 years and remains one of the most trusted names in residential and commercial electrical panels in 2026. Twenty years ago, Square D's QO and Homeline series load centers were already popular choices for new home construction, valued for their robust copper busbars and reliable breaker performance. Today, Square D panels have evolved significantly to meet modern safety requirements. The QO series now includes combination AFCI/GFCI breakers that provide simultaneous arc-fault and ground-fault protection on a single breaker — a feature required by the current NEC in bedrooms, living rooms, and kitchens. Square D's QO load centers also carry a lifetime warranty on the breakers themselves, providing genuine long-term value. For homeowners in Eugene, Springfield, and Roseburg looking for a premium, highly reliable panel backed by a century of engineering excellence, Square D remains one of our top recommendations at Checkpoint Electric LLC.
